2. University Selection & Application Process
MeD INDIA counsellors help students choose the best university according to:

Process:
1. Counsellor suggests suitable universities
2. Student and parents verify and confirm choice
3. Fill MeD INDIA application form
4. Get signatures from student and parents
5. Attach required documents
6. Pay prescribed admission fee
7. Submit application to MeD INDIA
After submission, MeD INDIA arranges the Official Admission Letter from the university.
3. Passport Application Support
If the student does not have a passport:
- MeD INDIA guides the entire process
- Helps with documentation
- Assists in online appointment
[!] Important Note: Passport processing usually takes around 45 days. Delay in passport application may delay departure.
4. MCI Eligibility Certificate (As per 2013 Notice)
As per MCI Public Notice dated 7th October 2013:
Indian students joining foreign medical courses after 15 May 2013 do not require MCI Eligibility Certificate.
(Students can verify through official documents if needed.)
5. Documents Authentication & Apostille
All original academic documents must be verified and legalized before departure.
Required Authentication:
- State Government Verification
- Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Apostille
Documents to be authenticated:
- 10th Mark Sheet
- 12th Mark Sheet
This process is compulsory. MeD INDIA provides full support for document authentication.
6. Visa Support & Invitation Letter
After completing documentation:
- MeD INDIA obtains Visa Invitation Letter
- Issued by concerned foreign government/university
- Processing time: 30 to 60 days
Additional Requirements:
- HIV / AIDS Blood Test Report
- Medical Certificates (if required)
Visa Stamping:
- Done at respective country embassy
- In some cases, student presence is required
- Students are informed at least 14 days in advance
7. Travel & Flight Assistance
After visa approval:
- Students must prepare for travel within 10–15 days
- MeD INDIA travel department helps with:
- Airline selection
- Discount fares
- Excess baggage schemes
- Ticket booking
- Parent/relative travel (if needed)
Support continues throughout the study period.
8. Pre-Departure Orientation Program
Before departure, a special meeting is arranged for students and parents.

10. Important Fee Payment Policy
Tuition Fee Rules:
- First-year fees must be paid before departure
- Without payment, travel is not allowed
- Exceptions only with university permission
Refund Policy:

- Fees paid to MeD INDIA or University are Non-Refundable
- No refund under any circumstances
- Students must fully understand terms before payment

12. MCI / NMC Regulations for Indian Students
As per Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 1997:

1.3. Screening Test (FMGE/NExT) After Graduation
After completing MBBS abroad, students must pass the Screening Test conducted by:
